W26 did not replace the leader. How the Week Proved Itself
Pokemon still held the cleanest spread because both Tier A and Tier B stayed decisively positive even with loud losers still active. Tier A finished 47 up against 7 down, while Tier B ran 121 up against 25 down, with N's Zekrom, Mega Charizard X ex, and Hilda offsetting the headline damage in Meowth ex. The leader still looked like the leader after the reader moved below the premium names.
MTG again looked like the clearest support lane because its premium posture stayed clean while the middle remained positive enough to matter. Tier A finished 69 up against 8 down with 1 flat card, and Tier B ran 90 up against 23 down with 1 flat card. MTG stayed important because it remained orderly, not because it got loud.
Lorcana improved enough to matter, but not enough to leap straight into the trust tier. Tier A finished 139 up against 8 down, while Tier B improved to 40 up against 13 down even though Jessie, Dale, Merida, and Sid Phillips still kept the lower tape uneven. Lorcana earned a second look, not a graduation.
One Piece kept the most dramatic two-way tape on the board. Tier A finished 62 up against 19 down, Tier B 80 up against 34 down with 1 flat card, and Tier C still printed 4 losers without a single positive counterweight. The upside stayed real, but the market still refused to clean itself up underneath the move.
